Celebrating five years of DVSA Driving Theory Test Delivery
2 Sep 2026
This week, Reed in Partnership celebrating five years of delivering the DVSA Driving Theory Test. Our Managing Director Donna Murrell reflects:
During the last five years, we've delivered 12 million tests across our national Test Centre Network. Through 135 sites, we operate one of the largest computer-based, invigilated testing programmes in Europe.
The Driving Theory Test plays a vital role in keeping our roads safe. Our responsibility is to ensure every test is delivered securely, consistently and fairly, while maintaining the high standards of customer service expected of a national testing programme.
We are proud of the role we play in helping people take an important step towards gaining a full driving licence, while protecting the public by safeguarding the integrity of the test.
In the last year alone, we have:
- Delivered 2.6 million Driving Theory Tests
- Achieved 96% customer satisfaction
- Detected and resolved 4,700 fraud incidents
- Supported 150 arrests linked to serious fraud
Earlier today, I met Yvette Windows and the team at our Leeds Test Centre, where they will deliver 475 tests today alone.
I was hugely impressed by their professionalism, commitment and attention to detail. It is humbling to think that the same dedication is demonstrated every day by colleagues across our network, helping millions of people to become safe and responsible drivers.
Behind every test delivered are people working hard to ensure candidates have a positive experience and that the integrity of the test is maintained. Reaching five years and delivering 12 million tests is a remarkable milestone.
My thanks go to our delivery and support teams and to our partners at DVSA for their collaboration in providing this vital public service. It is a privilege to work alongside so many talented and committed colleagues.
