Celebrating the Armed Forces Community Awards

We were proud to be in attendance yesterday at the Armed Forces Community Awards to see the nation’s most inspiring members of the Armed Forces recognised for a range of notable achievements.

Hundreds of serving personnel, veterans, reservists, military families, charities, businesses and supporters came together celebrate winners in 12 categories.

It was our honour to again sponsor the Education, Training & Development Award, which was awarded to The Open University for their Disabled Veterans' Scholarship Fund. This initiative is removing barriers to higher education and creating new opportunities for disabled veterans. Since its launch, the programme has helped hundreds of veterans gain qualifications, rebuild confidence and establish fulfilling futures beyond military service.

Many congratulations to all those nominated and awarded on the night and to our Career Transition Partnership partner, X-Forces Enterprise, for their work celebrating the achievements of the Armed Forces community.
