Jobs Fair support
12 Sep 2016
Our Work Routes team were pleased to be in attendance at a local jobs fair in Peterborough last week.
The Department for Work and Pensions and Tackling Worklessness in Peterborough (TWIP) hosted their annual Recruit 2016 event on Thursday at the Town Hall.
We were among 30 exhibitors at the event, who showcased job vacancies including in retail, administration, care, customer service and warehousing.
Our team met with hundreds of local jobseekers to explain how Work Routes can help them to start and sustain the right job for them.
We offer one-to-one advice and guidance, CV writing help, jobsearch coaching, skills training, exclusive vacancies and financial support with the costs of returning to work.
Aldo Collu, Senior Operations Manager for Work Routes, said:
“It was a warm sunny day in Peterborough. The room soon filled up with jobseekers and there was great interest in our new service from people keen to receive our help. “We look forward to meeting with them all again soon and supporting them to find lasting employment.”
Support from Work Routes is available for free in Peterborough, Cambridge Stevenage and Watford.
