Leading the way in gender equality

We are delighted to announce our recent success in winning the European Social Fund’s (ESF) Gender Equality Leader Award 2016. This was awarded to Reed in Partnership for the work we have done on our Opportunity Hackney service, which offers Hackney residents free one-to-one support to secure sustainable employment.

The ESF panel was particularly impressed with:

• The added value of our services
• Our identification and sharing of best practice for working with lone parents
• Our innovative approach to working with women
• Our strong organisational knowledge and expertise in helping women.
• We are proud to have been recognised for equality within our services and will continue to support participants across all of our contracts in a fair and equal manner.
