City LivingWise is provided by our subsiduary company Reed Wellbeing providing clinically credible high impact lifestyle and well being programmes.

City businesses came together on the morning of the 15th June to discover how City LivingWise can enable their staff to lead healthier, happier lives.

Commissioned by The City of London Corporation, City LivingWise provides low paid, high risk workers in the City with free access to:

  • An effective 12-week weight management course
  • An NHS Health Check for those aged 40+
  • Support to become more physically active

The business breakfast launch event was organised with Business Healthy, the City Corporation’s initiative to help meet the health and wellbeing needs of City workers. Over 20 local employers congregated at Giant’s St Paul’s showroom to find out more about how their organisations can benefit from City LivingWise.

Presentations were delivered by the City Corporation’s Assistant Director for People in the Department of Community and Children’s Services, Chris Pelham and Reed Wellbeing Director Harry MacMillan. Reed Wellbeing are the providers of City LivingWise.

Harry MacMillian spoke of the importance of businesses making efforts to maintain the health of their workforce and some of the ways this can be achieved.

“Drawing together businesses to find out more about City LivingWise is an important first step in enabling their employees to take control of their health. City LivingWise is fun, free and effective and provides a great additional benefit to local workers.”

Businesses in the City are now being encouraged to use City LivingWise to provide free on- or off-site weight management courses and NHS Health Check days. Alternatively, City employees can access the service themselves at citylivingwise.org.uk/city
