Praise for Work Routes Coventry

Andy Street, the Mayor of West Midlands, is encouraging unemployed people from Coventry to take advantage of free support from our Work Routes service in Coventry.

The Mayor recently visited the Work Routes office in Coventry to find out more about the programme, which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).

ESF Work Routes has so far supported 40 people from Coventry into work.

The programme is for unemployed people from Coventry who would like support to find a suitable job. People who sign up to Work Routes are assigned a personal adviser who will support them with regular one-to-one meetings, a tailored CV, free skills training, job search, and interview preparation.

The team is on hand to help participants address any personal circumstances that might be preventing them from finding work, such as financial and housing issues, previous convictions and caring responsibilities.
