New Work Routes support launches
7 Oct 2019
We are excited to announce that our free employment support service has today launched across Herefordshire and Shropshire.
We have been delivering Work Routes in other parts of the country since 2016, and the service has helped thousands of people to start suitable and sustainable jobs.
Work Routes is part funded by the European Social Fund and is therefore totally free to all of our participants.
From today, the service will be delivered throughout Shropshire and Herefordshire by Reed in Partnership and our delivery partner Enable, who are part of Shropshire Council.
People who sign up to the service will benefit from in-depth support to help them deal with any issues they feel are stopping them from working. As well as practical things such online job searching, CV writing and interview practice, the service can help with trickier issues that people feel are stopping them from finding suitable work – such as low self-esteem, parent and carer responsibilities that make finding jobs with suitable hours more difficult, disabilities, ill mental and physical health.
