Better Working Futures South London celebrates five year anniversary
1 Mar 2023
Our Better Working Futures service in South London has celebrated five years of impact, supporting local unemployed jobseekers to find sustainable work.
In 2018 the South London Partnership commissioned Better Working Futures – our name for the Work and Health Programme – to support people who face additional barriers to finding work such as disabilities and mental health issues.
Our Better Working Futures teams celebrated their milestone with events across our offices in Morden, Croydon and Sutton, reflecting on the service’s impact to date and hearing the success stories of participants whose lives have been changed by their time with us.
Programme Director Chris Paterson said:
“Over the last five years we have been privileged to work with some extraordinary people, exceptional organisations and fantastic employers. It is through these collaborative ventures that have allowed us to help several thousand South London residents with essential information, advice and guidance.
