At Reed in Partnership, we partner with organisations to provide inclusive employment opportunities to unemployed jobseekers accessing our employability services, many of whom face a range of barriers to employment. Our employability services are government-funded meaning we provide free support to people looking for work and our recruitment services are free for employers.
One of our key employer partnerships is with OCS, a global Facilities Services business that is committed to delivering social value impact and supporting the communities they serve.
To support jobseekers accessing our employability services and prepare them for roles at OCS, we offer sector taster sessions where individuals can ask questions and gain knowledge of OCS and the specific roles they have on offer. Alongside this, our employability service participants can take advantage of our in-house courses to help them to upskill and prepare to enter their desired job sector.
Since May 2024, our partnership with OCS has resulted in more than 90 candidates being placed into roles including catering assistants, security officers and cleaners.

OCS’s collaborative approach and commitment to social value has resulted in significant opportunities to those who have previously faced barriers into employment. They have prioritised candidates from our employability services whenever possible and have demonstrated a strong dedication to supporting individuals with career development, with several candidates hired from a Reed in Partnership service already progressing within the organisation.

This collaboration has resulted in 93 jobs across the OCS business and we have ambitious plans to maximise more opportunities in 2025 with our person-centred approach to inclusive recruitment.
