Joint Statement of Partnership signed with MOD

We are proud to have signed a Joint Statement of Partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MOD). This statement sets out the strategic intent and commitment for the MOD and Reed in Partnership to work together for the delivery of the Career Transition Partnership (CTP). The CTP assists eligible regular and full-time Reserve personnel leaving the Armed Forces to make a successful transition to civilian life, including to employment, education or training appropriate to their skills, knowledge and experience and meeting their personal aspirations.
Vice Admiral Phil Hally CB MBE, Chief of Defence People at MOD, and James Reed CBE, Chief Executive Officer at Reed in Partnership met at MOD Main Building in Whitehall on Wednesday to sign the Join Statement.
The success of the CTP relies on effective collaboration between MOD and Reed in Partnership and we are pleased to have set out a shared vision for the effective working of the partnership. The Joint Statement articulates the key tenets of our relationship, including our shared common objectives and agreed ways of working. It also emphasises our shared commitment to put the support of Service leavers at the heart of everything we do together.
Adm Hally, said:
“I am thrilled to share this moment with Reed in Partnership, strengthening our partnership and demonstrating Defence's commitment to delivering a positive resettlement service through the Career Transition Partnership.”
James Reed said:
"Reed in Partnership is committed to providing Service leavers who use the Career Transition Partnership with outstanding resettlement support to achieve their goals for after their Service - whether that is in new employment, education, training or in retirement. We are delighted to have signed this Joint Statement of Partnership with the Ministry of Defence that establishes our shared vision for effective collaboration and that will enable us to deliver on this important commitment."
