Mayor of Maidstone visits employment fair

Today we hosted the fourth of our planned Career Transition Partnership Employment Fairs for UK Ministry of Defence taking place across the UK during 2026.

These events offer valuable opportunities for members of the Armed Forces transitioning from military service and into civilian careers, providing an environment for them to explore a wide range of employment options, interact with potential employers and access resources and support tailored to their personal needs.

We were delighted to have over 100 Service leavers and 45 employers, training providers and charities in attendance at Kent Showground. We were also joined by Cllr Martin Round, Mayor of Maidstone Borough Council to see first-hand the support being provided to military personnel in Kent.
