Merlin accreditation maintained

Reed in Partnership has once again maintained an ‘Excellent’ Merlin Standard score for promoting supply chain excellence.

Partnership working is vital to the successful delivery of our services, and as such we work with 62 supply chain partners across the country who help us to deliver our employability, justice and youth contracts.

The assessment, for which we scored an overall outcome of 94% Excellent, rated us against key criteria within the Merlin standard, evidenced across the supply chains. This is a further increase on our 2020 rating of 93%.

A number of significant strengths were identified during the assessment, including:

1. Our designing of supply chains encourages collaborative operation, with open participation and resource sharing across the network to deliver comprehensive services.
2. Our procurement processes, which were graded Excellent for fairness and transparency.
3. Our methods of providing impartial, effective, and timely information, advice and guidance (IAG) to our partners, which have “strengthened over the past two years.”
4. Our Supply Chain Managers, who hold a “wealth of knowledge and experience.”
5. Our work to support, develop and encourage partners to evolve, build capacity and develop comprehensive services – to support them in remaining viable and sustainable organisations.

The purpose of the Merlin Standard is to support the development, recognition, and promotion of sustainable excellence, and positive partnership working within supply chains.
